FAQs
Will I be able to stay at Wander that weekend?
Wander is a small boutique resort with only 10 cabins.
Due to its limited capacity, only guests who have been directly contacted will be able to stay on site for our wedding weekend.
However, Prince Edward County is home to many amazing hotels, inns, and airbnbs that are nearby! See our list of recommended accommodations.
When should I book my accommodation by?
Prince Edward County is a prime tourist destination in the Summer and Fall, so we would recommend booking your stay by the end of 2023 to guarantee your top pick! The sooner the better. This is especially true if you're co-ordinating your accommodation to be near other guests.
If I'm not staying at Wander, can I still use their amenities?
Yes! Wander offers daily "Wander-In" guest passes that allows you to use their pool and beach amenities any day (this includes paddle boarding, kayaking, sauna… see the full list).
Guest passes are $40 per person.
Will Wander's Spa be open for booking?
Unfortunately due to some unexpected challenges beyond the resort’s control, Wander's spa will not be open in time for our weekend. Read the full notice here.
How will I get there on the wedding day?
We will be providing shuttle buses along the main road that connects the towns of Picton / Bloomfield / Wellington in Prince Edward County, to take guests to the Wedding before the ceremony begins. Later in the evening, the shuttle buses will be running periodically to help get guests back to their hotels / airbnbs. Schedule TBC closer to.
How can I RSVP to your wedding?
Please RSVP via the Paperless Post invitation you received by e-mail.
What should I bring for a gift?
We are so grateful for your attendance on our big day!
If you would like to give a wedding gift, cash gifts are welcome — we’ll use them to make our honeymoon memorable!
What can I expect the weather to be like?
The weather temperatures can still get pretty hot in early September! But hopefully not "get me outta this suit" hot.
On September 7th 2023, the weather was 27°C, and the year before that 23°C. Fingers crossed for clear skies!
Is there a dress code?
Dress to impress! Anywhere from cocktail to formal attire is welcome.
If I have children, can I bring them?
This will be an adults-only wedding. The only children that will be attending will be family members.
