Chris and Melissa both work in the post-production side of advertising, which is how they met. Chris, a video editor; Melissa, a VFX artist; both were assistants at the time.
Though they had met the year prior, it was at an awards-show after party in November 2017 where more meaningful chats were had.
Their first date was a few weeks later at Otto’s Bierhalle on December 2nd. Chris kept the receipt from that very first date, preserved it, and then presented it beautifully framed when he proposed to Melissa in July 2022.
You could say… sparks have definitely been flying.
Several continents, countless amazing meals, and of course thousands of photos later, they’re ready for that next big adventure.
